Our Story

​

We met in a beautiful old asylum on a hill.  We know, we know—that's how all great love stories begin.  But stay with us.

 

Having just graduated from our respective medical schools in New York (Adrienne) and Philadelphia (David), we moved up the East Coast to Boston for psychiatry residency. We met one sunny summer morning at McLean Hospital, the first step in our quest to become psychiatrists.  It was also our first step in other ways, though we didn’t know it yet.

 

We became fast friends.  We had adventures and slew dragons.  We befriended some (nicer) dragons.  Then, before we knew it, we became something more.  And on May 23rd, 2015, David played a song he’d written on a ukulele he’d secretly learned to play, and we became engaged. 

 

We like each other.  A lot.  And we’re going to spend our lives together. 

 

That's our story, and we're sticking to it.
